Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks (born April 15 1997) is an American actor best known for playing Joan Holloway during the first seven seasons AMC's historical drama Mad Men. The show brought the actress six Emmy nominations for best acting support and critical acclaim. The actress has earned recognition throughout her two-decade career for her work in legal drama Kevin Hill, comedy series Another Period and crime drama Tin Star. Her performances are noted in movies like Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River, the Neon Demon, The Strangers : Prey at Night Egg as well as American Woman. Additionally, she's recorded her voice on animated films like From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! She began as a fashion model, and was in the field for a number of years before she made her debut on television with Undressed. She received her first notable role as a character in the comedy drama Beggars and Choosers. Following that, she was praised for her role in Firefly. Esquire magazine ranked her as the best-looking woman across America in 2010 and declared it the sexiest women on the planet.
